I'm trying to upgrade my version 2012 to version 2016. I am able to install the software easily enough and establish the database connection. I can see the test connection works fine. However, when I try to login, I receive an error that the connection could not be established. I've verified the connection information is correct. Not sure what I am missing here. Do I need to create a new database then perform an export than import? I was looking for some upgrade instructions and I cannot find any. Any assistance here would be appreciated.
