Request for improved AD Sync behavior

Hello ASG Support,

Could we get AD Sync behavior enhanced to be able to handle "/" and  "\" symbols in the names of AD OUs. Currently, ASG errors when it finds AD OUs with these symbols and produces an error message and halts until a user clicks [OK].

This is frustrating. 

If these symbols cannot be included, 

Could the AD Sync not halt and demand user intervention?
     Maybe a check box to ignore all errors
     Maybe a check box to send all errors to a log file be made available after the sync completes, so I could work towards identifying these and correcting them?

Hi,

thanks for your request - since we don't have such characters in our OU's we never stumbled upon such effect. Also it's the first request of that kind.
I did a quick test by changing an OU inserting a "\" and can indeed reproduce an error. Will forward to development and we will discuss how to handle/prevent such an error or work around.
