Shared Database Problem
#1
Exclamation
Trying to setup a shared database for coworkers with ASG-RemoteDesktop 2015.  The program is installed, configured on SQL 2008 server, & I have no problems using it.  I'm attempting to get coworkers setup with access so we can all see & update the same connections.  I am able to get them signed in, but they do not see the connections.  I activated permissions & assigned everyone to the Administrator, but they still do not see any connections.

Any idea what I am missing?

Hi, please make sure that you assigned the security groups to the Connections you want them to see. Under the "Connections" - node - right click , then "Properties" and find "Security" you should see the "assigned security groups". Please add the desired groups that contain the correct users. Hope that helps ;-) Prerequirement is that you assigned users to your security group ( and added desired rights depending on your needs) .

Best regards,
Michael

Thank you.

Already did that one, but still had it marked as private. Selecting the checkbox 'Public' seemed to do the trick.

Thanks for your positive Feedback ! But I wonder why the folder was flagged as "private"... normally a new folder will be flagged "public". Anyway it's always good to know where to look at ;-)
