ASGRD2016 Patch4 Issue
#1
Just launched ASG RD 2016 Patch 3 and was notified of an update. Downloaded update, closed ASG RD, and ran patch 4 update. It says "Data file Damaged, your data file could not be read properly. DO you want to try to use the backup file?" I said Yes and the backup file failed too. I have gone in and looked at the settings.xml and the backup and they are there, but for whatever reason now damaged. Is there anyway to save my environment settings and profile? I do not connect to a database, its a standard file environment.

I am experiencing the same thing and can't use this version.  When I start 2016 the first time, it let's me import the settings from 2015 and works in the initial session.  As soon as I stop and restart the program I get the message that my settings are damaged.

Reverting to 2015 until there is a patch.

Can you please check your maintenance? Is it valid for the patch? > 1st Sep 2016

We didn't had any problems during all our tests so we need an idea what is going wrong :-)

Ok - still no idea why it happens...

@tomp84: Did you import data via vre file? You can also open your 2015 settings file with version 2016 and should be migrated automatically - can you try this? (With a copy of your old settings file)

@Nick3C: Did you close your application before you upgraded? So only one instance was running... Which logon method do you use? Windows Account, Username/Pwd, ...?!?

Yes I downloaded the new version, closed ASGRD, unzipped and ran the newest version when it errored out. I am using a standard username/password logon method.
