Does the new version need a database upgrade, when you upgrade from 2016?

Is there a way to know if your license covers the new version before installing it? My Maintenance contract is good through 6/30/2017 so I hope my license will work.

Hi , yes it it covered :-) Your maintenance is valid until end of June and version 2017 arrived March - so all lights are green for an upgrade ;-)
