1 SQL DB Multiple Users

Hi Support

we are now moving to dedicated logins for each user, is there a way each user can access the same database / list of servers but have there own separate set of credentials saved in ASG and not be able to see any other credentials which have been saved?

Yes sure - in database mode you create private or public objects (for all type of objects) - so private objects like credentials can be used only by the creator - it's also possible to asign "personal" values for each object category - so a user can assign personal credentials to a connection object and other users can have their own assignments... You can see in Properties dialog the 3 different categories "Private / Default / Inherit" - Private is only for the current user, default is the values that are used for all users - Inherit uses the values from parent object
