VMWARE documentation
#1
Hi,

I've tried to find documentation on how to set up VMWARE integration, but without luck. Does anyone know where to find it? The build in help function doesn't gives much help :-)

Thank you

There is not much you need - just create a folder (under Connections) - open Properties, goto Roles. Activate Role "VMware" - now you see the category to configure your ESX - type in your server information and how to access your ESX and click Sync - the objects should be synced to your ASGRD data source...

Thx, I found it. But it doesn't work. I get this error:

Did you try with the same values as you can login with vSphere client or the web frontend? Server name / IP address and a valid username / password combination...

Hi,

Yes I did. But can it be some firewall issues? Visionapp and the VMWare are not on the same VLAN, so I need to know which ports it's using, but I can't find which ports it's using
