Perhaps you try to delete all your log data and see if it make a difference?!?
I have purged all the logs from 2014.
My settings.xml file is 2.5M in size.
The issue still persists.
However, if I start the environmnent with the new settings.xml file the speed is much faster and the connections open up instantenously.
I have deleted that file and re-imported the connections using the CSV data / export.
That made the opening faster but there is still a delay of about 2s until the sesion is opened (as opposed to PuTTy) and there are no credentials imported.
