Multi Select Connections in Different Folders
#1
Greetings,

Since upgrading to ASG-RemoteDesktop 2018 (Version: 11.0.6064.1) I am unable to multi select connections in different folders. You were able to do this in version 2012. You can multi select connections in the same folder but not different folders.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Regards,
Kevin

Since ASGRD 2015 we use a new TreeView-Control and it is configured to allow multi select only for same type in a folder - nobody since today asked for the old way - we can check if it possible to allow MultiSelect on different folders again - I will add a task for that and will check it asap...

Hello,

We have just bought and installed v2019 and unfortunately it seems this is still an issue where you cant multi edit connections from different folders but we could on the old 2012 version.

If i use the find feature as well i cant right click and edit from there. I have 2000+ connections i need to edit that came from an automatically generated CSV

Is there any other way we can do this? Is it possible to specify what credentials and connection uses in a CSV?

Thanks

You can multi-select folders and choose "MultiEdit sub objects" - in the dialog (if needed) you can select/deselect the "affected items"

I seen that however means i need to sit and click on 1000's of tick boxes instead of just searching for the connections i want to edit.
