Auto-size is not followed
#1
If I open a RDP connection in a separate window, it always gets size 800x600. Even if I maximize it (my monitor has 1920x1200 pixels), it still keeps 800x600. If I press Reconnect, then the windows is again made small and connects again in 800x600. How to connect to a maximized Window? (not to fullscreen)

You can configure it in Connection-Properties - category "Display"

Reconnect settings must be also configured - you can set it to reuse the window size and position in Settings=>Connections

Thanks! Then I will ask our admins to enable this option for me as it's greyed-out.

Much better now, but why does it set RDP resolution WIDTH to 1936 if my monitor is just 1920? Then it re-scales the content and looks ugly.

It should use your configured size and subtract the width/height of the border/title - did you try to set 1910 instead of 1920? There are some checks if the size is really available on the screen...

I've just used the auto size and started a connected "On Monitor 2 > In Separate Window". First it starts as 800x600, then if I maximize it and reconnect, it takes 1936. There are no borders on the left or right site. If I make the window smaller and reconnect, it still makes the content bigger than the window - so for example I can't see the task bar and the right part of the screen. If I use tabbed mode, then there are no problems.

Same effect when using Monitor 1 instead? Where is your Windows Taskbar located?

Same behavior on both monitors. The task bar is located on both monitors at the bottom. (W10 has the option to show the task bar on every monitor.)
