Quick Connect doesn't allow Key Combos on remote machine
#1
Hi,

I'm using ASG RD 2018 Patch 7.1 (v11.0.6169.1); I have noticed that the "Quick Connect" option no longer seems to respect my Quick Connect options to apply Windows key combinations on the remote machine.

  1. I press Quick Connect icon (magic wand) and specify a machine (and set it to open in "Tab View")
  2. I press the "Use full connection properties" button at the bottom of the screen
  3. I go to RDP > Resources and set "Apply Windows key combinations" to "On the remote computer"
  4. I then press "Connect" to establish the RDP session
  5. When I'm in the session, none of the key combinations are applied on the remote machine; instead, they trigger local actions (applies to for example Windows key, ALT+F4, Winkey+E etc)
Note that when I connect from my address list, things still work as they should. It just seems to be Quick Connect which is affected.

I only noticed this since my upgrade to Patch 7.1; before that I recall it used to work fine.

Can you look into this one? Thanks! Regards,
Ook

I just step through the debugger - and the value is set correctly - will do some other tests...

Hi! Did you manage to find anything regarding this issue? Could you reproduce the problem? The newer versions of the application still seem to have this same bug? Thanks for checking!
