Due to some problems in release 2019 an updated version has been published recently - version 12.0.6261.1 links below are updated to the latest version also
ASG-RD 2019 (12.0.6258.1) is available! Also a native 64Bit edition is available (with some functional limitations).
To use this version you need a valid subscription until 02/01/2019
If you have already installed any ASG-RD 2018 version you need to close your application and then install the new version. You don't need to uninstall your old version.
Caution - Migration of datasource necessary - for all versions - older clients can still connect to the upgraded database.
ASG-RD 2019
For any feedback you can use the ASG-RD support forum.
The following ReleaseNotes describes the fixed issues and new features.
Fixes
- RDP - LoadBalancerInfo is only set if value exists
- SSH/Telnet connections - destination will be parsed for variables
- Change of login method (environment) works again
- No error logs are written anymore if change logs from extension modules are not available
- Favorites dropdown in toolbar - missing favorites are not displayed anymore
- Import rdp-files - servername:port is imported correctly now
- Components-Check will display status of Chromium browser
New features/enhancements
- Select folder where to create new credentials when creating in connection objects
- New VNC-Viewer-Version - 3.8.3
- New Chromium-Version 71.0.0.0
- New KeePass-Version 2.41
- New GeckoFx-Version 60.0.26
- Connections window - new menu to "duplicate" active session
- Performance/Memory optimizations for database environments with active permissions
- Offline-Mode with active permissions - offline.xml file optimizations
- HTTP-Connections => Support of "Form Based Auth"
The 64Bit-version of ASG-RD has the following limitations
- No ICA protocol is supported (Citrix do not plan to release a 64bit client software)
- No 'VMware=>Connect to Console' functionality - VMware is not releasing any new version of vSphere client and there is currently no 64bit client available
You can install the 64bit version side-by-side to 32bit ASG-RD and try it - but you should not use both applications at the same time to avoid data conflicts - especially when using file mode!
