SSH KeepAlive
#1
Hello,

Is there any way to set keep alive timer so SSH session does not timeout? I am using ASG 2018.

Thanks

Hi,

There is no setting in ASG-RD directly. But if you activate the role "ssh" and use the integrated putty you can set ssh-keepalive parameter seconds in the putty configuration under "Connection" -> "Sending of null packets to keep session alive" :-)
Best regards,
Michael

Hi,

But in that case it simply connects to the session via putty screen, not on ASG, correct?

The putty session will be opened in a tab - there is no visual difference- just like using the integrated ssh client, if you use "Tab view" in the "Display" settings under the connection properties.
