export data
#1
HI all,

We have migrated from our old windows domain to a new windows domain, so now our 'new' users are new entities and cannot access their old credentials.
We can still access the old environment and I'm looking for a way for our users to export their old credentials so they can import them into the new environments.

The Export option is greyed out as shown in the picture below and I cannot find a way to enable this, is this at all possible ?

If you have access to both - new and old domain - there is a easy way to migrate your personal data

Two steps for every user - log in using your old domain account - Choose "Environment => Login method => Internal user"

Now you can set a user name and password and your data will be migrated to this internal user.

Now log in with that internal user and choose "Environment => Login method => Windows Account"

Specify the domain user for your new domain - the data will be migrated again and afterwards you can log in with the new domain account - and all your personal data is still there!

Hi,

Thank you for this procedure, sounds like a plan.. unfortunately I get an error when converting the user to internal login type.
(even when enabling ALL options I still got the error when converting)
However, when searching for the option to enable the users to be able to change their login type I also found the enable import/export.

Although you procedure would have been more elegant I just exported an imported my credentials and that also works.

Thank you for your help,
Ronald
