Script to add connections?
#1
Good Afternoon,

My team recently upgraded to ASG-RD premium and I am trying to find a way to programatically populate an environment with multiple connections and folders.  Is there an API available for ASG-RD? If so is there any documentation out  there on it? Or has anyone created a script to populate connections I could use as a reference? Also is there a wiki or good source of documentation for this tool in general? from what I've seen this forumn is the best place for learning more about the tool.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
Unfortunately right now it's vacation time this month so reaction is a bit limited until the last week of this month. Nevertheless I try to answer your questions but one thing: I wonder what you mean with ASG-RD premium ? Thats not a term we have :-) First of all: ASG-RD has grown over the years but it's still a "tool" and we have 2 sources of information that we try to expand regularly: that forum and the integrated help: press F1 for most time contextsensitive help or from the main-menu. In the help there is a chapter describing the PowerShell functions we support and also there are some threads in the forum that show examples how to initialize powershell and use CmdLets we provide. A reference to all avaliable CmdLets is found in the help also with examples under the root "Contents" - "PowerShell API".
I hope that helps. If you have specific questions dont hesitate asking by creating a new thread and we try to answer. But as said- right now we are very limited through vacation;
Best regards,
Michael
