Credentials list empty
#1
Hello,
I've just installed the nesest version of ASG and i'm having problems with assigning credentials to servers. When i open the credentials tab it's blank. I've tried running in administrator mode and i've tried restarting both the program and pc. I've added a screenshot of the list. It worked once before but after closing the program and launching it again the problem came back.

In your screenshot I just see that "None" is selected…

Do you see Credentials in Navigation-Tree? You should always see the same result in the DropDown-ComboBox as in the Navigation tree - perhaps Permissions are activated and your user is not allowed to use any credentials?

The screenshot is what i got after i clicked none, i have added multiple credentials but none come up in the menu. I also believe i have rights to use credentials since i am able to make a new credential and assign it to the server i just cant assign credentials that already exist.

You can only assign one credential object to access a server - so I do not really understand the problem?

You added multiple credentials in Navigation-TreeView? And if you click the dropdown these credentials are not visible? Could you see your creds after pressing F5 in the Navigation area?

Yes i have added credentials in the treeview but i can't see any of them when i try to open the menu in the server credentials tab. I can see all of them in navigation treeview. So i can't add the credentials i have made to the servers.

Can you close the filter for the credentials? Perhaps an whitespace in the field? Never heard this issue before…

Can you post 2 screens - one with navigation visible where I can see creds - and one with the credential dropdown is opened so that I can see it is really empty? Currently there is always a white box over the important part of the screen...

Perhaps you have set the dropdown height to a very high value and the content is displayed outside the range of what we can see :-)

Check Tools=>Settings=>Layout

The first entry is normally set to 200 - Height for dropdown-Tree-Controls

Please check that - it seems that there is a number that is so big that the control is not displayed correctly - can that be the issue???
