2019 version, turn off auto reconnect in VNC
#1
I had a few users ask about turning off auto reconnect in a VNC connection.
I checked through the menus and couldnt determine where the auto reconnect it.
I did find a Reconnect option under Tools/Settings/User Specific/Connections/Reconnect Settings

Reconnect sessions in the same window/tab (this isĀ unchecked)
Retry connecting if connection fails (set to default 'Retry button')

As a test I went into a machine via VNC connection, then rebooted the machine, I instantly got a reconnect prompt , this is what we want to turn off, if possible.

Did I miss the setting someplace?

Hi,

You didn't miss something - there is no option right now to disable reconnect settings of the internal VNC component as far as I know. The setting you found is for RDP only. But you can create an external application that supports VNC, so you are able to customize it's behaviour fully or at least as far as that VNC software allows. But I forward that as a feature request to development to check if the used component could be customized that way at all.
Hope that helps,
best regards,
Michael

The VNC component supports a setting "Auto Reconnect enabled" - we will add this to the configuration...
