Error on loading plugin
#1
We are using AppV package of ASG 2019 patch 4 and found "error on loading plugin" (Find attached screenshots) issue forĀ  users i.e. 8 dll plugin-dll are failed to load.

Action taken:
* uninstalled ASG completely and tried with old and latest versions of ASG and found same issues
* Provided new machine to the user and there also faced same issue.
* This issue occurs for 5+ users and need to find root cause for this.

Hi Kumar,
thanks for posting your issue ! As mentioned we are not officially supporting AppV actively but some users already use it. I think I remember a post mentioning to not only sequenze the installation but also the first startup. Maybe that would help resolving those problems loading the dll's ?
best regards,
Michael

I think the users have not set the working directory correctly - because all the dll's should be available but can only be accessed when the program starts in the right working directory

Thanks for your response. We have deployed same package globally and issue occurs only few set of users and for other it works fine.

So, Do you have any suggestion for this as we also tried with old and new versions of ASG (App V) also found same issue.

Then please check the installtion directory - all of these dll's must be in the installation directory - and perhaps try to start directly via explorer from this installation folder - execute asgrd.exe

If it is working for other users with same deployment something must be different on these systems

I don't think that you still have 32bit OS versions running and trying to execute 64bit application - this should result in a different error message...
