Adding second user

I can connect with integrated security for my own account but second account, after setting up the environment, when clicking the "login" button the login dialogue doesn't change. Login button doesn't do anything.
If i uncheck integrated and try an internal user, then I can login but only see connections if internal user is made to be a member of administrators group.
Is there no guide to setting up permissions in this application?

Which version do you use? I think must be an older one because there was this bug that no message is displayed when the user has no access (but can't remember exactly when no message was displayed)

The security of the application is quite simple - create some security groups and assign your users to these groups - then you can set permissions on each object - like click on root connection, edit properties and switch to category "Permissions" - add a second security group and specify the details what is allowed. The permissions are inherited to all sub objects until you overwrite it on any object.
