ASG attempting connections over tcp/445 (SMB)
#1
Hello,
Whenever I have ASG Remote Desktop (2019, version 12.0.6261.1), my PC is attempting to connect to PCs all over my network on tcp/445, perhaps looking for file shares?

It appears all of the targets are defined as connections in my database.

Is there anyway to disable this?  My port keeps getting disabled by our Cisco security software.
Thank you!

Please check if you have enabled session polling? Settings=>Connections=>Polling interval to refresh session information

That could cause your connection attemps...

thanks, i did make that change this morning but still no change - I import most my connections from VMWare if that matters

There is no connect from ASGRD to any of your configured systems without you actively try to connect - no background activities if you not have configured automatic session polling
