Very slow loading via VPN
#21
Default timeout should be 15 seconds - so I guess 30 seconds should be almost enough - if not try 45 or 60 seconds...

Because I tried a lot of times and the environment is loaded really quickly - but I know if your bandwidth is very low it might take too long for a single SQL statement - then you should set a higher timeout value for your database environment (Advanced settings)...

Hi,

i have not exactly the same issue but some of my colleague working at home (only over VPN). sometime a timeout seems to apears and we getting a Message "SQL Statement can not execute".
We wait 3 seconds and everything is fine again but if it is possible to set a higher Timeout this wourld be great.

Maybe can you explain me exactly where i must set this timeout ? Do you mean the SQL Server hosting the Database or Settings in ASG ? MAybe you can explain it in German too ?

thx

Don't run "Pass through autnetication" - so you will be propmted to login at startup - enter the EnvironmentManager - edit your database environment - in step 2 or 3 there is a checkbox "Advanced settings" - if checked you will get one more page in wizard where you can enter the timeout for your connection...

Thanks for the tips, I will try and adapt if necessary in the next days/weeks.

For Nachtschatten, you can follow the explanations from DevOma or, when you start ASGRD, you can follow the steps in screenshots below :
