Hi,
we would like to be able to set personal values for the thycotic Sync.
so every user can use his own credentials to connect to the password source.
this is important to log which users uses which password.
We don't think that makes really sense - if you sync with different users who have not the same permissions the sync will override / delete credentials from other users...
So if you really want to split personal and public creds it might be better to create two sync folders - one personal for every user and one for public creds - or does that make no sense for you? In latest version you can select "Only personal folders" as an option...
And if you want to automate the sync - just use the command line and create a task in "Windows Task Scheduler"
One question - do you sync your passwords also to ASGRD - or just the object names?!? If you sync only the object names it could make sense to use "access user credentials" for retrieving the password - then could also guarantee that the user really has access to this password?!? Is this the way you want to use it or do I misunderstand it?!?

yes, the issue is that no service account is allow for the sync at the moment.
i will look into the option to split it this way, and try to get hold of a service account.
