how to change font size in SSH connection
#1
Hello all.

I hope I wasn't lame in searching the documentation or stupid in using the product menu.  Feel free to tell me if I was !
I tried forum search also to no avail.

I simply would like to change the font size (and maybe the font) that is used in an SSH connection.

I like to use my eyeglasses for important stuff like reading food labels or instructions.  I would rather not wear them to write code.

Thanks in advance for your help in finding this seemingly trivial answer/solution.

Hi Bob,
not stupid at all ! On the contrary you did the right thing and asked here ;-)
So we don't have settings integrated in ASG-RD allowing to change terminal font appearance. But you can do that in putty easily.
Just make sure to add the role "SSH" to the connection and then create a putty session that will be used - there you can define the font size and type under "Window-Appearance-Font settings"
If your not familiar with the "roles" feature have a look at the new video we created for that specific feature :  https://remotedesktop.rocketsoftware.com...?tid=11432

Hope that helps,
best regards,
Michael
