Connect RDP with NLA in error V2020
#1
Hello,

I just switched to the 2020 version. I can no longer connect in RDP on servers requiring NLA. If I turn off on the server, I can. Is there another solution?

Thanks,

Did you configure RDP=>Connection? "Server Authentication method" and DisableCredSSP are the values that might cause the issues...

Perhaps you didn't activate the RDP role? Then you should watch the tutorial that explains how to use roles...

in fact, it works very well on the 2016 version. I have exported my environment on the 2020, on about 10 servers I can no longer connect in RDP, although I deactivate "CredSSP" ... it still does not work. The only way to work is to go to the server and disable NLA

thank you

That can't be the solution to disable NLA on the server... What OS version is on destination servers?

Hi,
with disabled you mean you disabled the deactivation of credssp ? So the checkbox is not enabled to "disable credssp". That should be correct if NLA isenabled on the server.

Michael

There are so many people who can use it - so it must be something different - below a picture of my settings for server authentication

What error message do you get?

Hello,

thank you for your feedback, following your answer I have recreated a server connection manually and it works. It is the export / import of the 2016 to 2020 version that is certainly a problem.
It does not matter, I will create my connections manually.

Thank you
