I installed patch 6 for Remote Desktop 2020 today and lost all my private credentials. Shared credentials were unaffected. Is there a way to retrieve these?
I've attached a screenshot, the folder in the tree is empty. Prior to the upgrade there were 5 or 6 entries in there.
From which version do you upgraded? Because for most versions there was no database script running and it could not affect your credentials.
I think you have logged on with a different user id - how do you log on? With Windows Account? By Username/Password? Just have a look into "Tools=>User Accounts" to see if you find your account twice? You also can see your current user name in the status bar at the bottom of the application (if turned on - else turn on in Tools=>Settings=>Layout"

Hi
We upgraded from 2020 patch 5 so not a big leap.
I log in with my windows user account. I've just checked that Tools > User accounts and found my user twice. One in the domain name and one @domain.local. I've removed the domain.local and restarted the app, checking it was using the domain name. I have my private credentials back now.
Thank you for your help.
