Publish hash of installation package

Would it be possible to have a hash of the installation package published somewhere on the forum with every new version release?
Just so we have at least something to check to ensure we downloaded correct package.

it's been a while so I'm asking again - would it be possible publish SHA256 or similar hash of every released version of Remote Desktop?
My company internal rules requires security verification of every such file to make sure we downloaded correct file.

Oliver, it works though I would prefer SAH256 hash.
MD5 is considered insecure for cryptographic purposes due to its vulnerabilities.
