CyberArk Integration?
#1
I know this topic has been discussed before, but I am checking to see if there has been any progress made with CyberArk?

Not really - Cyberark do not allow to read any passwords via their API - so we stopped the integration - some users are using now command line options to start Cyberark connections - we will have a look at this topic again in near future...

Hello Oliver,

I'm a consultant and trying to help a customer trying to integrate ASG Remote Desktop and CyberArk. I don't know anything about ASG, but I do know a lot about CyberArk (>10 years professional experience).

Could you explain to me, what you're trying to do that's not working with the API? Maybe I can help...

CyberArk offers several APIs. And all of them should allow you to read passwords. Which one did you use?
  - REST-API
  - PACLI (CyberArk's own scripting language, practically obsolete and outdated)
  - AAM/AIM (a solution for machine to CyberArk communication, most probably not very useful in this case.)

Thanks and kind regards
Joerg

P.S.: some links that might be helpful:
Documentation for the REST-API:
https://docs.cyberark.com/Product-Doc/On...ces%20.htm
Examples from CyberArk on how to access the REST-API (although in my opinion, they are a little bit over-engineered. These could be done with way less code.)

We could also talk about this in a websession/phone call/email/... if this helps.
