Create connection greyed out
#1
Hello,
we are using ASGRD 2020 (version 13.0.6985.1) with SQL database. The environment connection is set and users can connect, but can't create connection.
The users are members of AD security group, which has granted following permisions on database properties:
connect - grant
execute - grant
insert - grant
select - grant
On DB security has this group granted following rights:
User Mapping - db_owner; public
Server roles - public
ASGRD Security group is set - printscreen posted.
Any suggestions, what is wrong set?
Thank you

Hi Jan,

What I miss is the info that the users group is assigned to the connection folder they should/can use. Have you already done that ?

Jan, ASGRD has a object-level-permission system - so you need to add permissions on folders and or objects - goto any object, open Properties and select "Permissions" in the Tree - there you will find Permissions like "Create, Edit, Delete" and a lot more - by default all permissions are inherited to all child objects - but you can override on every object level!

Hi,
after setting the security in ASGRD for Connection and Credentials, everythink is working fine.
Thank you very much.
