new installation
#1
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I could not find a previous post.

I'm installing ASG-RD 2019 on a new laptop, my old laptop will not power up. I'm assuming the SSD is ok, else this is moot.

I want to import my previous environment without having to reenter all of the information. If I didn't explicitly do an export will I be able to import it just using the installation on the old drive? I used windows authentication as the encrypt method. Where should I look for this information and what are the files I'll nee called. I'll have to give this information to IT so they can recover it.

Thanks

If you have used a local file and didn't change the path and file name - it would be %UserProfile&\Roaming\ASG-RemoteDesktop\12.0\settings.xml

You can copy this file to your new notebook and just create a new file environment - pointing to this file.
