Putty sessions won't stay in tab view
#1
Just in the last few days, all new Putty sessions I open in ASG 2017 won't stay in the tab view.  Instead, it opens in its own external window.  My coworkers have experienced the same thing...in the last few days.  Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this?  It's driving me nuts.

Hm, not really an idea why - you still use Display in Tab View? We do not support the version 2017 anymore - and this seems not to happen with any newer version. Sorry

We just found out today that a few days ago our IT group implemented a requirement on the use of regedit to be managed with an elevated privileges action. We have software the enforces this based on those rules. Is it possible that ASG is trying to edit the registry for these sessions when a new Putty session is started?

PuTTY itself stores all information in the Registry - each session in an own hive - ASGRD just reads the configuration list of PuTTY from Registry - but perhaps PuTTY itself is writing something back when starting a connection - I do not know
