IP Field in search bar

Could we make it so the search bar can search by either connection or IP?

Just to clarify - which search bar do you mean? In FIND-Window? In Navigation window the search field? I've added it now for the FIND-Window as new option "Destination/IP"...

I'm so sorry to bring up an old thread, but I guess it was not added where I wanted it.  I am talking about here:

You can show IP-Address in Navigaion and you filter / search on it - just disable "Settings=>Layout=>Navigation - Show and load only base fields"

Then right click on a column header - you can choose more columns to be visible in Navigation - and you can enter different search / filter options

Ok, so weird thing, when I added the IP field, now each sub section is being sorted by IP, instead of by the connection name. I do not see a way to change which column it is choosing to sort on, can you advise?

Ok I see the problem - we have set column "Name" to "Can not sort" because we have options for each folder to sort alphabetically or sort manually - but this property is not set for the other additional columns - I think that must be also set to prevent strange sorting!

I guess it will only possible to reset it by choosing "Tools=>Reset User Layout"

Right click on the column and choose "Clear sorting"!
