ASG RD user failed to login

ASG RD user failed to login. "Connection could not be established"

But test connection passed. "Connection check successful"

This is a new SQL database created for new demanding, creation process is same as before.

Please help how to troubleshooting.

What version are you using? Any error log entries? In latest versions we have some detailed output what could be the reason...

OMG - really old version - Windows Application Event Log

If there is nothing - it must be any permission for the database itself - give your user dbo rights and test again.

Or try to open Environment Manager again - edit your new environment and test access there again - perhaps you get a more detailed message

The tricky part is, test connection in environment manager works, same AD account.
Any clue / idea?

Then I guess the access to stored procedures is not allowed - in newer version we could see - again, try to give the user dbowner rights to see if that is working - then it must be any missing permission for the user
