Login Issue in RRD v 2026 patch 2 after update

Coming from RRD 2023 v 16.0.7751.1 I want to update to latest RRD v 2026 patch 2.

Like mentioned in the release notes i first updated to RRD 2024 patch 12/12a to get the DB-Schema 18 after giving the new license file, so far everything works.

When I install RRD 2026 patch 2 i  can connect to the DB but when I try to login i got two error messages:

1. The current user does not have permission to start the program. Please contact the administrator.

when i click on OK button i got this:

2. The user 'my username' with the SID 'S-1-5-21-......' does not have permission to log in.

There was a problem with the license so the create it again but is valid until 09.07.2027:

Hi,

It looks like your current user is in nested group under security groups of RRD, Login behaviour changed in RRD 2025 patch 3. Do you have any admin account directly in Administration security group of RRD ? If you can login and enable check nested group permission under Tools > settings> permissions.
