Connection History Not Showing
#1
Ever since upgrading to Version 2026, Administration > Logs > Connection History doesn't return any data.  Its just a blank screen.  The Logs table in the database has data and I can see the query it is executing in SQL to retrieve it but its not returning results.  Any ideas?

Hi,

Sorry, we couldn't reproduce the issue. Is this issue occurring only for you, or are other users experiencing it as well? Can you share screenshot of Tools > Settings > Logs > Activate connection history
Thank You,
Pavan

Hi,

How are you starting the RRD app, Check if you are using any command line parameters in shortcut ? Using /readonly command line parameter can disable adding logs into history.

Also Do you have connections configured with credentials or is it configured as None ?
Thank You,
Pavan

Hello. I am not starting the app in any special way that I know of.  Just using the icon it places on install.

All connections are configured as none.

ok, can you add some credentials and test ? If that is the reason , Was it working in older patch without credentials assigned and connection history works ?
Thank You,
Pavan

We've never added credentials.  Previous versions worked fine.

We found and fixed the bug - if no credentials were assigned to a connection it did not log any data

Do you need Preview Version to fix the bug?

Great news!  Thank you!

I don't think I need preview version.  Can wait until you release it.

Hello, I'm on patch4 and still have an issue with no history on quick connect. Anything needs to be done on the application itself?

Can you give us some details? I deleted all logs - do QuickConnect via RDP or HTTP and I can see the entries in History after connect
