Role based access control

We are struggling on finding how to create roles and assign a group of server sessions that the role can have access to within rocket remote. the tutorial is not the same as what we see on our instance or at least as clear for us. 
Another thing that we are not able to find is that we cannot find where to disable the storage of passwords for a session.

You mean users shouldn't see the password in public Credential object ? We can disable it in Tools > security groups > select the User group > details > Advanced > Show/Hide the Password in Public creds

we have security groups and we have a folder with connections, and we would like to give access to that folder to an specific group but we don't see the permissions section under properties on the folder.

Check Under Folder Properties > Security > Add Security groups and below it you can change it permissions for public and private objects.
