Linked connections (G)
#1
In our organization we create different folders for different functions such as one folder for the Citrixfarm, on for each customer, one for the Domain Controllers etc. The problem is that we have to create a new connection for each server which occurs in more than one folder. Therefore, a server can have more than 2 connections and must be updated in more than one place if changes are made to that server.
Our request is that you can create linked connections. It is then possible to create one connection object and then link it one or more folders. This is the same functionality found in Microsoft Group Policy Management when you are working with GPOs.
Best regards

Could it be I'm close to that what you want with my Thread regarding tagging (http://forum.visionapp.com/showthread.php?tid=3370)?

Wish you a Happy day,
Stefan.

Hi,
The function you are talking about is something else. Im looking for the same "linked" functionality as in GPMC when you are working with GPOs in Windows Server.

Would you agree that your request is similar to drlandau's in http://forum.visionapp.de/showthread.php?tid=5051?
