I'm using 2010 R2, Version 7.0.3033.0 -- running on Windows 7 32-bit. First off...GREAT PRODUCT...massive time saver!
Periodically I move the SQL Server 2008 DB that contains the visionApp vRD environment database from one node in a fail-over cluster to another node/server (to allow machine maintenance, etc.). This causes a brief interruption in DB connectivity for the vRD environment.
If vRD is accessed at all during that brief period (which happens, since I'm initiating the move from an RDP session within vRD), it leads to vRD locking up with an Exception dialog box (with an OK button, which can not be clicked on) that prevents further interaction with vRD leading to having to kill the task.
It would be helpful if the environment connection exception could be handled by waiting a few seconds and attempting a reconnection again in the background.
If this has been requested already, or if I've posted to the wrong forum, I apologize. I did look to see if any similar request existed, but nothing was evident.
Thank you for the consideration! -Mike
