Hello!
I tryied to find similar request or problem, sorry if I missed it.
I'm a vrd corporate licensed user, with multiple administrators. Connections are handled with central mssql database(es) for servers, workstations, etc. Current version of product used is 2010 R2 ver 7.0.3088.0. Everybody use centralized or private credentials, and thats fine.
Problem is simple - different administrators like different screen size or tab size settings.
Current version offers "connection with options" to single server with different options like console/full/separate/tab/etc. but it cannot be handled with "connect all" in folder function. Windows are opened "as the last administrator changed it in pc/server properties". And it is quite annoying, if you need to open 20-30+ windows together with "connection with options" separately.
Solution I'm looking for - is it possible to identify somehow (sql connection name, etc.) current logged in administrator and gave him his/her personal screen dimension settings (per server) and if personal settings doesn't exist, only then use centrilized settings (like credentials)?
This is not solve the problem, if we create local databases for every administrator, cause servers/pc/etc. changes taking place quite often and personal connection database ages "in worst case" with a day or two max.
Best regards...
