There should not be two fields called computer name.
Change the one that translates to the IP / host to ...
IP / Host
Computer name should only be used to describe the connection.

Dear kaffien,
I strongly agree with your suggestion.
Since I started using vRD on 2009, I found confusing the use of Computer/Computer name on the new connection wizard.
I think "hostname" would be better than "computer name", since this word is usually associated with an IP address.
But the best choice is something that clearly refers to an "address". Why not "address" or "device address"?
I use vRD to connect to many devices, not only "computers". There are firewalls, printers, webcams, storage arrays, environmental probes and monitors, ups...
Don't forget to fix it everywhere in vRD. Sometime the "name" is reported as "connection name" ("Find" vs "Connection History") and the "computer name" is reported as "computer" ("Connection Properties" vs "Quick Connect").

I think (and maybe kaffien too) that it is a bit confusing, even if vRD 2011 made it easier than vRD 2010 to distinguish between them.
The real difference between this two fields is that "name" is only a description, while "computer name" is the address vRD uses to connect to a device, to use in external applications and so on.
This is why I suggested something like "address" or "device address" for the "computer name" field.
