In environments with many folders and connections spread across many different departments, the navigation pane quickly gets very "crowded", even though care is taken to organize connections and folders hierarchically and logical - and many users only use specific connections and access specific folders.
Therefore it would be very useful to be able to hide folders (and connections) that you (personally) never use.
I envision a rightclick-option on objects called "Hide object" that will hide the object from the navigation view (being it a Folder, a Connection or a (public) Credential).
A toolbar-button "Show Hidden Objects" will when toggled hide or show all objects markes as "Hidden". It could be extended to a dropdown-checkbox (like Excel AutoFilter) that allows you to hide/show each catagory: folders/connections/credentials.
