I bought a new license of ASGRD2015 and upgraded from 2012. Everything works except the SSH connections to our Solaris systems. When I try to connect I get the message : “Connection failed: The negotiation of encryption algorithm is failed”. All my Linux and BSD servers work fine. When I try to connect to the same Solaris servers using Putty outside ASGRD I can connect without problem.
We only pass credentials and session to Putty - so if you really could use Putty standalone it should also work inside ASG-RD - please check that you are using the version that is inside the 2015 app directory - perhaps there is an issue inside this Putty version?

Hello,
Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. if I start the putty.exe executable from the ASG directory and manually enter the hostname it connect just fine to my Solaris systems. If I try it through ASGRD it works fine to the Linux and BSD servers but to the Solaris Servers I keep getting the "Warning : Connection failed : The negotiation of encryption algorithm is failed" error (incorrect spelling copied from dialog). I upgraded this profile from 2012. The 2012 profile works just fine with the 2012 version of ASGRD from another machine. I'm attaching a screenshot.
The compression checkbox is not checked. I use this product for my day to day job, I can not afford to fiddle around with this anymore. I'm just going to revert to ASGRD2012 or find a competing product that does work properly.
