In the next patch you can choose to have a search box in credentials assignment area - it's already implemented...

Hi thanks for the implementation in patch 8, but it searches for exact credential names.
while that is good if you know the exact name, sometimes or better most of the times I don't know them.
giving all credentials in that folder would be nice.
with over 500 customers searching for SVC_SQL_admin , still give quite a lot results.
The function that i was searching for was a match on folder between connections and credentials.
that way it would also benefit the function "connect as" where you at this moment don't have a search.
But I understand this will be a bit harder to implement.
There is also a small bug/feature in the function right now.
If you click on the folder name instead of a credential, it gives the first credential of that folder even though it is not visible in the current selection.

Ok I understand :-) So you are using same credential and connection folder names to split your data for your customers?
It will be easy to have an option like "Show all sub objects in search" - so if you type "Customer 1" you will see this folder and all crednetials that are in that folder
Your preferred option would be "Show credentials from cred folder with same name as the connection folder" - have to think about that, don't want to implement options that only make sense for one customer...

Yeah that's about it.
Just come to think of it, if you could put a folder switch next to the 'cred. fliter', may be a folder icon, and if selected only look for floder names that would be not that hard and still leaves the current search possible too.
Would not benefit the "connect as" function though.
The same name for connections and credentials is only needed for this "connect as", but for when using folder search it would not be mandatory but only logical.
