User has no access to login
#1
Hi all,

I have an issue with ASGRD 2015 patch 8 regarding login and security.
We are running in database mode.

When a new user tries to login, he gets these two popups.

Popup1:

Popup2:

Note that this user has never logged in before.
Other users work fine.
Also note that a new security-group has been created for this user and an active-directory group with this user has been created and assigned to this security-group.

Initially I had no security assignements set for this security-group (everything unchecked).
After the user experienced these issues I gave all permissions possible for this user. But this did not solve the problem.

The SQL access and security is fine. The user is db_owner and SQL authentication is succesfull.

Any idea what can cause this issue?

Greetings, Mark

The error Pops up when the user is not correctly assigned to any security Group.

Try to assign the user directly to any security group - check that the user uses the right Domain / User Name combination.

SQL Access is ok!
