I'll add a "Me too" to this one - I'm dead in the water unable to login to many systems right now.

For what it's worth, I'd guess the license check fix is killing us:
* License check fixed - New program versions can't be used anymore if subscription is not valid

I do have a valid license key (<CreateDate>30.07.2015</CreateDate>), but I assume the previous version was running with an invalid license. Now that it is fixed, I can't login to correctly apply the license.

I tried un-installing it but the Timebomb message still happens. See attached screen shot.

Pressing "Ok" just exits without letting me install the license.

What license do you have with Patch8 activated? Eval mode? If I test with license that is only not supported in Patch9 I do not get an time bomb error - I'm informed that my license can't be used with Patch9 and I can continue in Eval mode to import a valid license

Same issue here, we cant use ASG RD due to the timebomb error. Got a single chance to start it up with an eval license, but couldnt import our current (and valid) license due to the field being grayed out.

What Kind of license did you have with Patch8? Was the maintenance valid? When do you got the error? Second start?

Please delete the file "Profile.xml" in %AppData%\Roaming\ASG-RemoteDesktop\8.0 - start ASG-RD again and Import your license file

We apologize for the inconvenience!

I will send the files, but what is odd, I have multiple DB's for fifferent departments. I can connect to some DB's, but cannot connect to others.

Will this break my current ones that work?

As the "%AppData%" variable already has "\Roaming" on it, the correct path on my Windows 8.1 system was:
%AppData%\ASG-RemoteDesktop\8.0

After deleting the Profile.xml file and re-running ASG-Remote Desktop I was able to login and import the valid license key through the help menu (A question mark - "?"), then choose "About" and click the "Import new license file").

Thanks for the timely response!

@geodash: Databases should not be affected - only file Environments - or do you have problem with database?

There was a fix posted for this here: http://forum.visionapp.com/showthread.php?tid=9502

Keep in mind the path they posted is wrong. You will have to remove the "roaming" from the path as %APPDATA% takes to the Roaming folder.
