Import CSV not working at all
#1
Hi
We are just setting up with visionapp at my company and moving from remote desktop manager.

I tried to export all our servers into an csv to make the transition easier but had no luck.
Finally I tried to export from visionapp into csv and then inport that same csv but still got nothing.

There are no errors, the process completes successfully but the import is simply empty.

This happens both in local file mode and database mode.

Any ideas?

Which Version do you use? 2012, 2015? Did you try to add a new folder and import to this folder (the export csv)

Version is:
AGS-RemoteDesktop 2015
V: 8.0.5034.1

I tried both to import to a new empty folder and straight into connections.
Same results, it´s as if there is no data read from the csv file.

Can you send me your csv? Attach here or send it to asg.rd@asg.com (add a link to this thread in your mail)

The new column "IP address" ist not exported correctly - so it's missing in the Destination csv file - that should be displayed (but won't) and so no row is imported - you can add IP manually or try to export without IP - then the import should work again
