credentials for putty ssh don't work
#1
Hi,
I'm using credential sets to connect to different ssh targets.
Since upgrading to the latest version 8.0.5034.1, this does not work anymore.

The username is used but the password not.
The cli displays the password dialog and is waiting for me to type.

Can this be fixed or what's the problem ?

Cheers,
Sebas

Which version do you use before? We tested that and it works - and I think other customers are using it without Problems...

Hi,
Version 8.0.4958 did not have that issue.

Even trying "connect as" and selecting the credential will only use the username.
Password entry is awaiting input.

I've tried creating a new credential and applying it on the ssh connection. No improvement.

We tested again with current version and everything works fine - tested with Putty and Poderosa

Does the Problem occur only for 1 server or for different ones?

Hi, it occurs with all of my SSH connections to cisco devices.

So only a specific server type - can you connect to any other SSH destination successful? So it must be a configuration on server side...

Hi Oliver,
I have around 100 different cisco devices. Before upgrading everything works.
My collegue using an old version doesn't have any problems.

So it's not on the server side...

Any debugging possible ?
