issue to open ASG 2015

Hello
Each time I open ASG remote desktop I get that message :

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

where is the problem ?

Please try to delete or rename your profile.xml (%UserProfile%\AppData\ASG-RemoteDesktop\8.0)

Start ASG-RD again - the error is from "Logbook" - so if program can start, please try to open Logbook again to see if the error occur again or not?!?

Did you close ASG-RD before you renamed the profile-file?

The Logbook should not be opened if you reset your profile?!?

Did you try to "reinstall" the app? Or perhaps reinstall .NET (4.0 or 4.5)


=> at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewBand.set_Thickness(Int32 value)

The error seems to occur in .NET base code... very strange!

Hi
I finally solved the issue; un-installing the application was not enough;

1. I un-installed the application again
2. C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming>ren ASG-RemoteDesktop ASG-RemoteDesktop.tmp
3. re-installed the application with restore initally done
