ASG 2015 questions

Hello.

I've used previous versions of visionapp before and notice the 2015 version is way different.


Few questions I'm hoping someone can answer...

1. How can I specify a default credential for all servers? I don't see that option in the settings anymore. Every time I connect to a server I have to right click> connect as ...

2. I installed visionapp on a secondary computer. Is there a way to synchronize the sql express database from my main desktop? It would be nice to always have my connections and credentials that way.

3. Multi-edit doesn't seem to work for me. I want to assign credentials to a group of connections, but it doesn't apply.

1. Version 2015 is role based - so you have to add Roles to your folder and/or connection objects (in TreeView of properties dialog) - Roles will be inherited to all childs by default - but you can overwrite it at any object... if you add "Credentials" you will see the input fields!

2. We do not support sync of databases out of the box - why don't you use a central database? Or you have to setup sync with MS SQL Tools...

3. If you use MultiEdit you have to select the values you want to set - did you do that? Or perhaps you only didn't activate the Roles so you can't see your changes?!?
