Forms authentication for RDS RDWeb

I am trying to get Forms authentication for RDWeb website working, but the %password% content will not populate in the 'UserPass' field; it seems to be some particular protection on the password of the credential as I can populate with other stuff - is there some option for allowing this?

If you work in database mode you need the permission to use passwords from public credentials - check Settings=>Permissions=>Allow parsing public passwords...

Thanks, I have tried 'Allow parsing passwords from public credentials to external apps'; this was effective after closing and reopening ASG-RemoteDesktop 2020.
I wonder if a good feature would be some sort of whitelist.
